ASANA CLASS: Present Moment Bliss
This Yoga Asana Class is designed to melt you into a state of Present Moment Bliss. Release anything you are holding onto in your past and any anxiety about the future. When we appreciate the present moment we access a deep state of inner peace, self love and empowerment. We let go of all that we can not control and learn to enjoy life and live in a state of flow and ease. This intermediate hath yoga class is appropriate for students of all levels who would like to experience the true goal of yoga: Union. Union of body, mind and spirit and gratitude for the miracle of the present moment.

Ahimsa is one of Yoga's ethical principles that means "non-harm" or "non violence". In this Asana Class class we focus on how to use this principle to focus on self love through not harming ourselves with negative thoughts and behaviors towards ourselves and our bodies. The more we can cultivate a loving and supprtive relationship with ourselves the more we embody yoga and living a yogic lifestyle with a balanced mind, body and spirit. This class is a short talk about the importance of Ahimsa followed by a hatha yoga class that will open your heart and help to cultivate self-love and feelings of happiness and inner peace.

Pranayama and Bandhas Class to teach you the importance of pranayama and guide you through several different styes of pranayama including: Three Part Yogic Breath, Alternate Nostril Breathing (Nadhi Shodhana), Breath of Fire (Kapalabati) Learn how to integrate conscious breathing and pranayama into your daily life and into your yoga asana practice. You will also learn about Bandhas, why they are important and how to perform them. Mula Bandha, Uddiyana Bandha, Jalandara Banda. What is Yin Yoga? How can we incorporate it into our yoga practice? What are the benefits of Yin Yoga? Yin Yoga lengthens the connective tissue and fascia in our bodies that make up our tendons, ligaments and joints. By practicing Yin Yoga we can melt away deep tension, stiffness and holding patterns in our body and increase ur flexibility and range of motion. Yin is known for holding postures for a long time (3 to 20 minutes) and all Yin postures are relaxing and calming. Yin is a very feminine practice that can be the prefect complement to an athletic lifestyle or a busy day.
